Marissa has been in the idustry for 7 years, with 6 of those being feline only. Marissa previously worked with Alex and Dr. Hovanetz at other practices, so her training has been on the job from wonderful mentors. Marissa's favorite part of working at Carefree Cats is the gratitude that comes from clients and of course kitty kisses!

Marissa's hobbies include hiking with her 2 huskies, caring for her houseplants, seeing live music and hanging around the house with her 3 cats: Brittle, Taz nd Johnny Cash.

Her desire is to eventually start a non-kill shelter where senior kitties can get quality care in their last days.
