I just graduated from University of Georgia veterinary school this past spring, however, I have worked in veterinary medicine for 5+ years as a veterinary assistant, receptionist, and kennel technician. I’ve worked with all kinds of animals, but I have always loved cats the most from a very young age.
I’ve always felt more drawn to animals and developed a love for teaching others about the unique world of animals. I chose feline medicine after a lifetime of loving these house panthers. I love experiencing the unique human-animal bond between every caregiver and pet. I have interests in advanced imaging including radiographs, ultrasound and endoscopy. I also love internal medicine, endocrinology, and behavior.
As someone from a rural background, I have a special love for Spectrum of Care and finding a treatment plan that works for everyone regardless of finances. I also aspire for every cat to have the best experience possible at the veterinary hospital.
I am excited to meet all of the feline patients and their caregivers. Forming lifelong relationships is one of the most special things in general practice. I’m also thrilled to be working in a clinic fully dedicated to cats!
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my two torties, Aria and APL; reading, and exploring more of Colorado!
