Fun fact: She's had her gardens certified by Monarchs Across Georgia, Monarch Waystation and National Wildlife Federation. She and her family have raised monarch, zebra longwing, black swallowtail, Tiger swallowtail, gulf fritillary and countless other species of caterpillars and released monarch butterflies to embark on their southern and western migration. This summer the family plans to tag the monarch butterflies in hopes to track them to their wintering habits in Mexico and California.
